中央山谷是智利历史最悠久、最著名的葡萄种植区,共分为8个产区, 库里科山谷即为其中之一。库里科在当地的马谱其(Mapuche)语中是“黑水”的意思, 因这里是智利重要的农业中心地带。

山谷由三种地势构成:安第斯山脉、中央平原及海岸山脉。葡萄园均集中在中央平原和海岸山脉的山坡上。VINA EXTREMA家族酒庄的葡萄均选自位于酒庄在库里科山谷南边的一块葡萄园，酒庄名意即神圣的山丘，为安第斯山之母。酒庄正好位于安第斯山脉中也被称为“小安第斯山”的老山脉部分。

由于古时的地壳运动所致，老山脉蕴含丰富的矿物质及对人体有益的微量元素，葡萄藤吸收了土地的营养成分，有利葡萄的栽种。VINA EXTREMA酒庄致力于生产高品质的葡萄酒，并专注于消费者的健康，同时为消费者带来良好的口腹之感及健康的体魄。

Introduction to Vina Extrema winery

The Central Valley is Chile's oldest and most famous wine-growing region. It is one of eight producing regions. Curico means "black water" in the local Mapuche language because it is Chile's important agricultural heartland.

The valley consists of three types of terrain: the Andes Mountains, the Central Plain and the Coastal Mountains. The vineyards are concentrated on the slopes of the Central Plain and the Coastal Mountains.Vina Extrema's grapes are selected from a vineyard located south of the valley of Curico, the name of which means sacred hill, mother of the Andes. The estate is located in an old part of the Andes, also known as the Little Andes.

Due to the movement of the earth's crust in ancient times, those ancient mountains are rich in minerals and trace elements that are beneficial to human body. Grapes absorb nutrients from the land, which is good for the cultivation of grapes.
